I adopted my dog in July from your shelter. His name was Matthew, but I renamed him Bo. He has brought nothing but joy and fun to my life! I had recently moved here and knew nobody, and was somewhat depressed and homesick. Bo cured all of that! Through your records, I even have been in contact with his previous owner, and we share pictures and phone calls...she was diagnosed with cancer and ended up not having the energy to take care of Bo (then Matthew), but is overjoyed to know he has a happy new home, and that she can visit and see pictures of him. He even sent her a nice package of goodies and pictures for Mother's Day! I just wanted to say thank you for the work you do....when I visited looking for a dog, on all of my visits the shelter was clean, and the dogs obviously well cared for, and the staff very friendly and eager to answer my questions. I plan to move this fall and am thinking about adopting a second dog once I'm settled. So I will probably be visiting the shelter again soon!
