| Volunteers take their own (pre-approved) pets to visit people with special needs, including older adults, the seriously ill and patients in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Possibly create a Read with Fido program to assist young children who have difficulty reading or work in conjunction with law enforcement. |

| Therapy pets and their owners must go through an application and interview process. |
