Pet Adoption Specialist

Description

Answer basic inquiries and guide customers to choosing the proper pet. Introduce the animal(s) to the potential customer and discuss the needs of that particular animal and how they fit with the potential adopter. Once a match is made assist the customer through the adoption process.

Requirements

Direct animal handling requires the volunteer to have completed the volunteer training and must be at least 16 years old. If between the ages of 16-18 you must have a parent sign a release form. plus general experience with the animals at the Pet Adoption Center. You can learn by assisting an experienced Pet Adoption Specialist.
