S.P.O.T. Spay/Neuter

Stop Pet Overpopulation Today (SPOT) is our low cost spay/neuter program. The community SPOT program was developed by KHS to address the challenges of pet overpopulation.

In order to have your animal spay/neutered,

stop by the shelter,

fill out the SPOT application,

purchase your SPOT voucher,

schedule your appointment.

If an animal is on any medication and/or has/had a heart condition; tracheal, kidney or liver problems; or seizure disorder, KHS will not perform spay/neuter surgeries on these animals.

  • SPOT surgery is performed on Tuesday and Thursday. Drop off at KHS is between 8 - 8:30 am.
  • Cats will be ready for pick up between 4:30 - 5:30 pm.
