Donation Options

 Kootenai Humane Society relies on support from our community to help care for unwanted, abandoned, and mistreated animals in North Idaho and Kootenai County. An amazing 40% of our annual budget comes from individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations through contributions, gifts, grants and in-kind donations. Without your support we would be unable to accomplish Our Mission. 

  We have made it very easy for you to make a monetary donation using a credit card. Simply click on the "Make a Donation" button. You will then be taken to PayPal's secured website to make your payment. Just fill out their forms and we will receive your payment online.

Loyal Friends Subscription Donations: We always appreciate any type of donation, but having regular income from our donor base really helps us plan for the needs of our shelter.  Learn more about making a donation that will automatically repeat in the time frame that you choose.
Memorial Donations: KHS understands loss is a part of life. We would like to encourage you to make a donation to honor that memory. Simply fill in the person or pet’s name and click the "Donate" button to be taken to the PayPal website to complete your donation.

Donate Food & Supplies from our Wish List.  There are many items that we use on a day to day basis to make the care of the animals in our shelter even better. We could use both items that are directly related to pet care, as well as numerous office supplies. 

We are one! Taking some time out of your day to volunteer at our shelter can be very rewarding. We have lots of opportunities for volunteers to help us and the animals we care for.
