Welcome to our 2011-2012 Share A Little Love Discount Program! For a donation of $35.00 or more, we will send you a VIP (Very Important Pet) discount card. This card entitles you to discounts at participating businesses for one full year. The card will be valid from February 2011 through February 2012. |

KHS is the lead agency for animal welfare in Kootenai County. We provide care, shelter and adoptions for approximately 1800 animals per year. KHS takes in surrendered animals from owners that can no longer take care of their animals for many different reasons. We work very hard to take in all animals however at times we may have a waiting list.
The Community Lifeline for Animal Welfare Services (CLAWS) is sponsored by the Kootenai Humane Society. With the growing need in our community, your donations truly make a difference in the lives of our furry friends. All donations are tax deductible. Kootenai Humane Society is a 501c3 non profit organization. We receive no City, County, State or Government funding so we depend on people like you.
